 Shenandoah National Park

National Geographic/Trails Illustrated Shenandoah National Park, Virginia
Excellent new topographic map completely revised, and printed on two sides.  On one side is the north part of the region, the south on the reverse.  Shaded relief is used to enhance the elevation contours to show the form of the terrain.  A green tint shows the extent of forests.  Detailed are trails (with the Appalachian Trail specially highlighted), roads of all sizes (with Skyline Drive overlooks indicated and named, and mileposts on the same scenic road indicated every five miles), picnic areas, campgrounds, parking areas, huts and shelters, waterfalls, visitor centers, lodging, restrooms and much more.
