Printed on one side only, the map employs elevation contours to show the form of the land.  Distinct color tints highlight lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, State of Arizona, Hualapai Reservation, Forest Service. and Mohave County.  Shows lakes, creeks, washes, springs, wells and tanks (stock ponds).  Township and section lines are marked.  Roads of all classes are depicted (with US and state highways plus Forest Service roads numbered).  Shows railways, landing stips, major power lines, mines, gravel pits, corrals, and more.  The map also locates many recreation sites (See sample below.)
Cities, towns, and communities in the region include eastern Kingman, Antares, Hackberry, Crozier, and Truxton.  Also in the region are Hualapai Mountain County Park, Hualapai Indian Reservation, and a part of Prescott National Forest.  Running through the region is Interstate 40 and US 93.  About two-thirds of the map is within Mohave County, the upper right corner is in Coconino County, the remainder in Yavapai County.

Major physical features include Long Mountain, Hualapai Valley, Hualapai Mountains, Peacock Mountains, Grand Wash Cliffs, Truxton Canyon, Cottonwood Cliffs, Cottonwood Mountains, Aquarius Mountains, Seventyfour Plains, Aubrey Valley, Trout Creek, and Juniper Mountains.

Scale, 1:100,000 (1 inch = about 1.6 miles).  Contour interval = 50 meters.  Size: about 43 x 27 inches.  Folded.  Paper.
