South Dakota Wall Maps
USGS State of South Dakota Topographic Shaded Relief Wall Map
An outstanding physical map of the state, showing the form of the mountains with shaded relief, and emphasizing the flatter lands between with a green tint. Elevations of selected hills and peaks are indicated in feet, but topographic contours are not shown on this map. Numerous peaks, mountain ranges, streams, lakes, and other physical features are labelled—but the map shows no roads, does not mark National (or state) Forests and Parks, and cities shown are limited to county seats and the state capital. The only other political features included, other than the state boundary, are the county boundaries and names.Tick marks show the location of lines of latitude and longitude at one degree intervals.
