John H. Stewart & John E. Carlson (compilers), Geologic Map of Nevada
Standard state geologic map printed on two sheets, one side only.  The sheets are designed to be cut and assembled to form one large map.  Like most of the other geologic maps we sell, different colors represent different types and ages of rock.  Fault lines are also mapped.  In addition, and less noticeably than the geologic features, it shows elevation contours, watercourses, lakes, marshes, cities and towns, roads, railroads, landlines, county boundaries and more.  A detailed legend the geologic units mapped and lists references.

Scale, 1:500,000 (1 inch = about 7.9 miles).  Contour interval: 500 feet.  Assembled size: about 45½ x 67 inches (size of north half sheet: about 45½ x 30 inches; size of south half: about 45½ x 41 inches.  Rolled.  Paper (two sheets).
