Canadian customers:  We do not send maps we have imported from Canada back to Canada, as this would be a waste of natural resources.  The Canadian publisher, International Travel Maps, makes many of the maps on this page, as noted in each item description.

Guia Roji Carreteras de Mexico, Mapa Turistico, Tourist Map
Detailed road map printed on two sides.  On one side is the map of the entire country.  Subtle shaded relief depicts the mountains—probably too subtle, since you have to examine the map rather closely to notice it.  The type for the smaller towns and villages is especially small (about 4 pt.), so you will need sharp eyes or a magnifying glass to read this one.  (Sample at right.)  But the map clearly distinguishes classes of roads, and distances between junctions along major and many secondary roads are indicated in kilometers.  Also shows railways, estado boundaries, ferry routes, and more.  A table of distances in kilometers helps you calculate how far it is between 51 important Mexican cities.  Along the bottom is an extensive guide to picture road signs with their meaning.  But note that this map is, with the exception of the words "Tourist Map" on the cover, entirely in Spanish.  If you are an incurable English-only monoglot, this is not the map for you!

The reverse has detail maps showing the main streets of Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara, with the most central portion of Mexico City shown in greater detail.  Another map on this side shows the central part of the country around the capital in detail, and extends from San Luis Potosi and Tampico south to Iguala and Tehuacan.  A small schematic map of the whole country gives distance and drive times between important cities.

Scale, 1:3,450,000 (1 inch = about 54 miles).  Size: about 36½ x 26 inches.  Folded, with protective card cover.
