Detailed road map printed on two sides. One side shows the map of the entire state, with roads of all sizes readily distinguished, and with point-to-point mileages indicated for major and secondary roads. (See slightly blurred sample at right.) The map also shows wildlife refuges, state parks, campsites, rest areas, airports, information centers, and points of interest. Counties, cities and towns are fully indexed. A mileage log enables you to quickly calculate the distances between 30 important cities. There are also charts listing toll roads and welcome centers.
The reverse side describes points of interest; interspersed with this information are inset maps showing the major roads of eleven areas: Anderson, Elkhart, Evansville, Indianapolis, Muncie, Bloomington, Fort Wayne, Gary, Lafayette, South Bend, and Terre Haute. A table lists state parks and reservoirs, with contact phone numbers, and facilities and activities available in each. Another table lists major airports.
